Ray Hunt Wade Saddle: Durable, Customizable, and Lightweight
Buckaroo Leather proudly presents the Ray Hunt Wade Saddle, a tough and reliable work saddle that won't break the bank. Handmade in our shop, this saddle is built on the renowned Ray Hunt Wade tree, guaranteeing years of dependable service. Let's dive into the features that make this saddle a standout choice:
Top Grade American Tanned Leather: Crafted from 16 oz. rough-out leather, our Ray Hunt Wade Saddle boasts exceptional quality and durability. The all-leather ground seat ensures a comfortable ride, while the rough-out finish adds a touch of ruggedness.
Customizable Design: Make the saddle uniquely yours with the option to customize the tooling, carving, and seat size. Tailor it to your preferences and enjoy a saddle that reflects your individual style.
Precision Tree: The tree of the Ray Hunt Wade Saddle is a "Precision Tree" manufactured in Yoakum, Texas. It combines wood with hand-laid Kevlar reinforcement, which is then covered with a durable and waterproof material called DuraK. This innovative construction not only makes the tree lightweight, but also incredibly strong, surpassing traditional wood and rawhide trees.
Wide Fit Range: While our standard trees fit a wide range of horses, we also offer custom fitting if needed. Don't worry if you have a larger or draft horse – we have successfully fitted many of them in our saddles.
Properly Plugged Skirts: The skirts of our Ray Hunt Wade Saddle are designed with proper plugging and contouring. This feature helps displace weight evenly across a wider area of your horse's back, preventing uncomfortable pressure points.
Forward-Facing Stirrup Leathers: Our stirrup leathers are permanently twisted to face forward and laced. This thoughtful design relieves strain on your ankles and knees that can be caused by stirrups that won't stay in the correct position.
Lifetime Warranty: We stand by the quality of our saddles with our "Cowboy Common Sense" lifetime warranty. While the customer covers shipping costs, we offer free repairs for an indefinite time. The warranty is subject to inspection and excludes damage from abuse, neglect, or accidents unrelated to normal use.
Experience the excellence of the Ray Hunt Wade Saddle from Buckaroo Leather. Ride with confidence, knowing you have a reliable and customizable saddle that will serve you and your horse for years to come.
Cliff Wade Buckaroo Ranch Saddle: Handmade Quality and Customizable Options
Buckaroo Leather is thrilled to present our handmade bench Wade Post saddle – the Cliff Wade Buckaroo Ranch Saddle. With over 38 years of experience in saddle design, custom fitting, tooling, carving, and construction, we have poured our expertise into creating this exceptional saddle. Here's why the Cliff Wade Saddle stands out:
Superior Craftsmanship and Materials: Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the materials used in our Buckaroo Leather Tack and Saddles are of the highest quality. We take pride in delivering impeccable workmanship and ensuring that our products meet the most exacting standards.
The name Buckaroo Leather represents a long-established organization that has catered to horsemen and women for two generations. With our experience and knowledge, we guarantee you're receiving the utmost value for your investment.
Custom Fitting Available: We understand that each horse and rider combination is unique, which is why we offer custom fitting options. If needed, we can provide a fitting system to ensure the saddle fits your horse perfectly. Our standard trees already fit a wide range of horses, and we have successfully fitted many large and draft horses as well.
Quality Tree Design: The Cliff Wade Buckaroo Ranch Saddle features Bowden Style Arizona Bars made with tight grain, high elevation Colorado pines. These bars provide greater tensile strength and are sewn with the best hides and rawhide lace available.
Our trees are left to dry naturally and slowly to minimize twist and warp. Assembled in jigs for greater accuracy, the bars are shaped with computerized machines, ensuring symmetry and precision. These top-quality trees have been carefully selected based on years of experience to fit a wide variety of horses.
Comfort and Durability: The saddle is equipped with 100% wool shearling lining on the skirts, ranging from ¾" to 1" thick. The properly plugged and contoured skirts help distribute weight across a wider area of your horse's back, preventing pressure points and ensuring comfort.
The stirrup leathers are permanently twisted to face forward and laced, relieving strain on your ankles and knees caused by stirrups that won't stay in the correct position.
The saddle features a 7/8 plate rigging installed on the tree with stainless steel screws and pilot drilled holes, ensuring a secure rigging that won't come loose.
The weight of the saddle ranges from 35-38 pounds, making it manageable for both horse and rider.
Stainless hardware guarantees durability and longevity.
